About Planet Numbers
Planet Numbers has been connecting calls from the UK to family and friends abroad since the 1990s. We are a small UK company, and when you call or email us you reach our own support team in Bournemouth.
Where the name comes from
The company behind us started out as Planet Numbers Limited in 1999. Over the years the consumer calls service ran under the Planet Telecom name alongside our business phone services. In 2026 we gave the calls service its own home again, under its original name, so that people calling family abroad have a site built just for them. Planet Telecom continues to look after business customers at planet.uk. Same company, same access numbers, same accounts.
What we do
- Prepaid accounts with our lowest rates, called from a normal UK number that comes out of most inclusive minutes.
- Free calls to many countries if your phone plan includes 0845 or 0870 calls.
- Instant access numbers for a one-off call with no sign-up.
No contract, no app to download and no monthly fee. Your credit never expires.
What we promise
- Clear prices. We show our rate and tell you when your own phone company will add an access charge on top. How access charges work.
- Real people. Our UK team answers the phone Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30.
- Fair treatment. If something goes wrong, our complaints code explains how we put it right, and you can take an unresolved complaint to the Communications Ombudsman for free.
